With an intuitive sense of the property market and a results-driven history of consistently high top-level sales, Nicholas Slatyer, Principal of Belle Property Cairns, continues to set the benchmarks of the North Queensland real estate industry.
Motivated by a desire to excel, Nicholas’ expertise has been honed in a career spanning over two decades of challenging sales-oriented roles – including nine years in the competitive Sydney market. Moving to North Queensland in 2003, Nicholas continued to accomplish impressive results, while maintaining his complete business integrity. His role as Project Sales Director on Belle Property’s Havana development in Port Douglas, saw him set new standards in the region by achieving the highest ever off-the-plan sales rate in North Queensland. He secured more than 100 contracts in just nine months.
In 2005, at the age of 29, Nicholas became the Principal of Coldwell Banker Cairns. He immediately began achieving record residential sales, overseeing a specialised portfolio of homes for sale; luxury residential properties, CBD penthouses and beachfront properties. Nicholas also successfully collaborated with local developers to sell out high-profile developments in Cairns and its surrounding suburbs. In addition, he grew the agency’s rent roll to a portfolio overseen by three dedicated property managers. Within 12 months, Coldwell Banker went on to be named the Real Estate Institute of Queensland’s Cairns Agency of the year in 2006.
In 2013, Nicholas rebranded to Belle Property, where he continues to work with a bespoke team of sales, property management and administration staff. As the principal, Nicholas maintains a focus on nurturing an inclusive and holistic professional environment, as well as delivering the highest standards of professionalism and accountability to clients.
